The Potawatomi Zoological Society receives dozens of requests each year for memberships and tickets to the Potawatomi Zoo for civic and charitable organizations. As a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization, we weigh each request thoughtfully and attempt to fulfill as many requests as possible. Unfortunately, we are unable to grant each request and, due to the number of solicitations we receive, we are unable to respond to each request.
In general, we are able to give items to schools and other not-for-profit organizations. We are unable to support individuals or events not associated with an established not-for-profit organization. Our scope of giving encompasses a 50-mile radius of the Potawatomi Zoo. Organizations may not receive more than one donation per calendar year.  Please follow the guidelines below when requesting that the Potawatomi Zoological Society support your program

• Provide a formal, written request (on your organization’s letterhead, if possible) to us no less than 45 days prior to your event/activity. Requests must include:
  Organization’s legal name, address and phone number
  Contact name, e-mail, address and phone number
  Name, date and time of the event (if applicable)
  Purpose of the event or request
  
  Who the membership/passes will benefit
