2011 Membership rate increase
The Potawatomi Zoo has served as a fun and educational destination for families for over 100 years. Now more than ever, the Zoo’s mission of fostering an appreciation for nature and instilling reverence for all living things is vital as we witness the global changes affecting all animal – and human – life. Supporting the Zoo is a significant way our local community can make a difference in so many ways in ensuring a healthy wild animal population well into the future. As a Society member you are helping to support the Potawatomi Zoo through education, conservation, zoological research & exceptional care for our animals, not to mention the superb recreational outlet the Zoo provides. In the spring of 2011 we will open our North American River Otter Exhibit, a million dollar exhibit completely funded through the Potawatomi Zoological Society. To help continue the growth of our Zoo and to support conservation efforts both locally and internationally, we will be making a small adjustment to our membership prices effective January 1, 2011. This $5.00 increase will help support our continued efforts to support the Zoo. |
