Potawatomi Zoo offers 3 volunteer opportunities: Event Volunteers, Zoo Crew, and Docents, so you can select the program that best suits your interests and intended time commitment.

The Potawatomi Zoological Society Board of Directors is currently accepting applications for open seats on the Board. The mission of the Potawatomi Zoological Society is to financially support the zoo through active fund development, to act as public advocates for the zoo and to promote the zoo. For these reasons, we are seeking board members that possess a passion for the zoo and what it represents to the public, as well as posses the skills that promote our continued. Current board projects include raising funds for capital improvements and additions, planning for the overall future of the zoo and overseeing and supporting the financial security of the organization.
