Butterflies In Living Color! Closes After Fourth and Final Season Butterflies in Living Color, our full immersion butterfly exhibit, closes after a fourth and final season on Labor Day. We thank our supporters for visiting our beautiful, exotic butterflies from distinct areas around the world during this past season. As many of you know, this is our last year for our Butterflies in Living Color! exhibit. When we opened Butterflies in Living Color! as a seasonal Zoo exhibit in 2008, we planned to evaluate its success against new and upcoming seasonal Zoo exhibits and we thank all of our patrons for visiting this amazing exhibit through the years. This temporary, seasonal exhibit has been an exciting addition to Potawatomi Zoo. We are currently in the process of planning what’s coming to take the place of Butterflies in Living Color!. We have some exciting ideas in the works to bring you something new and interactive that you will surely enjoy! Over the years your contribution to the garden in the form of a ticket purchase has assisted us in our effort to support global butterfly conservation. The Potawatomi Zoo is a founding member of the Butterfly Conservation Initiative which is supported by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). Thanks again for your support! As a non-profit organization, the Potawatomi Zoological Society could not successfully support endeavors at the Zoo without the generosity of our members and donors. We thank you for your support, and for choosing to make a difference in the Zoo and our community. We appreciate all of your feedback on this exhibit and love hearing your stories and how much you have treasured this exhibit over the last few years. |
