Life Span: Although the maximum life expectancy of a wild Galapagos tortoise is unknown, the average life expectancy is estimated to be 150-200 years

Diet: In the wild, tortoises are a generalized herbivore feeding on grasses, vines, cactus fruit, and other vegetation. It eats the fruit of the manzanillo tree and fallen fruits and spiny pads of the prickly pear. At the Zoo, the tortoises are fed a mix of grasses, bananas, apples, papaya
