Life Span: Although the maximum life expectancy of a wild Galapagos tortoise is unknown, the average life expectancy is estimated to be 150-200 years

Diet: Wild: Tortoises are a generalized herbivore feeding on grasses, vines, cactus fruit, and other vegetation. It eats the fruit of the manzanillo tree and fallen fruits and spiny pads of the prickly pear. Zoo: Grasses, bananas, apples, papaya
