Day in the Life of a [Zoo] Vet
Grades 4 – 6

2022 Spring Class: A Day in the Life of a [Zoo] Veterinarian

NOTE: Masks are currently required for classes through the end of March. Due to Low COVID-19 Community Levels for Northern Indiana and per CDC guidelines, masks will become OPTIONAL during class beginning on April 1. This is subject to change at any time based on changes in local COVID-19 levels and CDC guideline updates.

Ever wonder how to give medicine to an alligator? How do you do a medical exam on a tarantula? And how do you check the hooves on a rhino? This class will explore the day in the life of a vet that takes care of all of the animals at the Potawatomi Zoo. Chat with our Zoo vet staff, practice veterinary skills, meet some animals, and see if you have what it takes to be a vet someday!
