WINTER BREAK CAMPS

Junior Naturalists Camp (ages 4-6)

Celebrate the seasons with us this year! Come and learn how animals grow and change throughout the seasons in order to thrive in their changing environments. We’ll investigate how animals respond to all seasons of the year, but we’ll pay special attention to winter!

A half-day camp designed to help introduce 4 to 6-year-old children to animals around the world. Whether meeting a live animal or getting messy while crafting, students are bound to have lots of fun!

**Since we do not have any Tiny Explorers classes available during the winter, the Junior Naturalist Winter Break Camp will be open to 4-year-olds this year. Junior Naturalists Camps/Classes will resume to the 5 and 6-year-old age range in our Spring Season and Tiny Explorers classes will reopen for 3 and 4-year-olds.  

Future Zoologists Camp (ages 7-9)

Your student will be entertained in this full-day camp when they take their animal knowledge to the next level. This camp will build off of existing knowledge through animal meet and greets, games, crafts, and other activities.

Wild Rangers Camp (ages 10-12)

Take learning to the next level with more advanced lessons and experiments during this full-day camp. Observe and interact with animals while learning about animal care, research, and conservation.

Zoo camp scholarships are available.

For families with a need for financial assistance, the Zoo has scholarships available. The number of scholarships are limited and are awarded on a first-come-first-serve basis. Families must provide proof of financial need and annual household income with one of the following documents: first page of federal tax return, W-2, year-end pay stub, or proof of unemployment for the year of 2017. Families with an annual household income below $60,000 may qualify for a zoo camp scholarship. To register for a scholarship, please call (574) 235-9070.
