Future Zoologists Summer Camp
Ages 7-9

Now offering two different summer camps for Future Zoologists!

Hoosier Habitats:

Potawatomi Zoo is in the state of Indiana, a state of many habitats. When traveling through the state, what kind of habitats do you see? A river? A forest? A farm field? This week of camp, we will discover 8 different habitats that are found in Indiana. From the Indiana Dunes to the Ohio River, and everything in between, we will explore the characteristics of each of these habitats, meet animals from each ecosystem, conduct freshwater macroinvertebrate ecology, play games, make crafts, and more!

Dates:

Monday, June 15 – Friday, June 19
Monday, July 6 – Friday, July 10
Monday, July 27 – Friday, July 31

Challenge: Adapt!:

Adaptations are tools that help animals survive in the wild—kind of like a superhero’s utility belt.  Learn about incredible animal adaptations and then find out if you measure up.  Are you up to the challenge? Campers will learn what types of adaptations animals rely on for survival through activities, games, animal encounters, crafts, and more!
