Entrance News and Updates
The Zoo broke ground on the new entrance in a private event on September 12, 2018. Read the story in our Fall 2018 issue of UPROAR.
The membership booth has moved to its new home in the parking lot near the tiger habitat and will serve as the temporary entrance to the Zoo until early 2020.

Demolition of the old entrance will begin on October 29. All visitors must now enter and exit through the temporary entrance.
It starts to feel like a real building when they pour the foundation! In the background, you can also watch the progress of the new bathrooms.

The construction crews worked on the concrete masonry of the new entrance during December and January. Next up: roof beams!

The building has framing for windows, and the plan is to install them at the beginning of April. In the meantime, interior masonry has continued.
