Field Trips and Group Trips

The Potawatomi Zoo offers discounted admission and attraction tickets to Field Trips. The Potawatomi Zoo also offers discounted admission to qualifying organization groups.

The Field Trip group rates are available for K-12 schools with 20 or more paid admissions (not including Zoo Members) during the week.

The Organization Trip group rate is available for camps, daycares, churches, adult care facilities, etc., who have 30 or more paid admissions during the week or on weekends.

Please read through all of the instructions and guidelines in your packet before your field trip or group trip.

In order to receive a discounted rate for your group, you must return the correct, completed registration form in advance by fax to 574-235-9080.

Once your group trip’s registration has been received, the Zoo will send you a confirmation. At the bottom of the confirmation is a section you can fill out on the day of your trip with the number of paid admissions in your party, which should be given to the Admissions Cashier upon entering the Zoo at the Field Trip Entrance.

You can pay for your Potawatomi Zoo group trip using cash, check, or credit card. Potawatomi Zoo memberships may be used. For adults, the Admissions staff will need to see the membership cards and identification. For students using their family’s membership, we will need to see a copy of the membership card and cardholder photo ID when they enter the Zoo.
