The Pumpkin Patch at the Potawatomi Zoo will be open this year from October 5 to October 27, 10:30 am – 4:00 pm in the Picnic Grove.

From Monday through Friday, the Pumpkin Patch is only open to school groups who contact Guest Services in advance. On Saturday and Sunday, it is open to the public.

“We started the Pumpkin Patch a few years ago to give school groups an extra fun experience at the Zoo in the fall,” says Kaitlynn Snowden, Guest Services Manager at the Potawatomi Zoo. “We have a lot of fun planning and decorating the Picnic Grove, and it’s been great to see how much the public enjoys it too.”

Visitors can purchase a Pumpkin Patch Wristband for $5. This year, the wristband includes a real pumpkin to take home, an edible craft, and a ride on the Potawatomi Express Train or Endangered Species Carousel. There is no age limit.

The Pumpkin Patch will be closed October 18-20 during Zoo Boo.
