Return to the Zoo

Timed Entry Tickets Are No Longer Required

You can still purchase advance tickets at the link below for contactless entry. If you have already purchased tickets to the Zoo, they will be honored.

Masks are required for all visitors age 8 and over to enter the Zoo. Once in the Zoo, please use appropriate social distancing and mask use when social distancing is not possible.

The entrance building and Zoo Gift Shop are open during Zoo hours, but we may limit the number of people inside at one time. Masks are required inside buildings. The Zoo exit is through the Gift Shop.

Please Note: This decision was made after monitoring our hourly attendance numbers. We have determined that we are not exceeding 50% capacity of the Zoo at any one time, and we are confident that our guests can socially distance as they await entry through the building. The Potawatomi Zoo takes the health of our staff, animals, and visitors very seriously. Special precautions and modifications to how we operate have been made to keep our visitors healthy and safe. Changes based on CDC recommended guidelines have been instituted across the Zoo. It is the expectation that all visitors will follow these guidelines to ensure the health and safety of everyone visiting the Zoo.

As this is an ongoing situation, we will continue to evaluate our numbers and health guidelines. We appreciate your patience and understanding!
