Children’s Day

In partnership with our friends at United Federal Credit Union, all children ages 14 and under receive free admission to the Zoo on Children’s Day.
The Zoo is open from 10 am to 8 pm (last entry at 7:30 pm). Overflow parking is available at John Adams High School, Kids Kingdom, and the neighborhood streets around the Zoo.
United Federal Credit Union staff will be walking around the Zoo in giraffe suits, and they’ll have a giveaway at their tent in the plaza (while supplies last).
The Zoo’s regularly scheduled giraffe feeding will be at 11-1 and 4-6. We’ll have keeper chats at their regular times during the day too: 10:30 Leopard; 1:30 Anteater/Capybara; 2:30 Colobus/Diana Monkey. The train, carousel, concessions, and the gift shop will be open their regular hours (attractions, concessions, and the gift shop are not part of free admission).
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
