Potawatomi Zoo Animals
It’s our goal to strive for the highest level of animal care for all species, from hissing cockroaches to Masai giraffes. The Zoo houses nearly 400 animals–over 135 species–on 23 acres. Of these species, more than 60 are part of Species Survival Plans and more than 50 also serve as Ambassador Animals for our Education department. We’re proud of our animals and all the people who care for them at the Zoo.
