Please Note: The Education Department offers two different types of classes. Tiny Explorers and Evening Safaris are family classes. In these two categories, children are expected to be accompanied by an adult. All other classes and camps (Junior Naturalists, Future Zoologists, and Wild Rangers), are for children only. Parents are not permitted to stay. The only exception to this rule is for children with special needs. Children with special needs are permitted to be accompanied by one adult. The Education Department must be notified before the day of the class that an adult will be accompanying a child with special needs. No adults will be permitted to stay without prior notification. If you feel your child will not be comfortable attending class without a parent, please sign up for an Evening Safari class. No refunds, transfers, credits, or vouchers will be given for cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice. For more information on this policy, please contact the Educational Programs Manager at 574-235-9070.
