It is important for the Potawatomi Zoo to do its part to slow the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus. Unfortunately, this means we have had to delay opening the Zoo this season, and we have canceled Zoo programs, classes, and events until we can determine that it is safe to resume our regular schedule. Because we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we rely on ticket sales, zoo visits, and donations to operate. We will continue to provide excellent care for our animals but being closed will have a significant impact on our overall operating budget.
