Return to the Zoo in June

We are reopening the Zoo! Please read carefully as there are important new procedures and guidelines including timed ticketing for ALL visitors, even members. This will help reduce the number of visitors in the Zoo at any given time to promote social distancing.

All visitors MUST get a ticket online for the time they want to visit the Zoo. The ticket indicates the time you need to enter the Zoo, but once you enter, you may stay as long as you like. Tickets are non-refundable, but if you need to reschedule, please contact the Zoo at (574) 235-7620.

Members, your ticket will be free (see below for instructions), but you MUST REGISTER HERE before your ticket will be free. Use the same contact information you used to create your membership.

Timed Entry Tickets Are Required Through July 11

The new entrance will not yet be open for admissions, to limit the number of people in the building. However, the Gift Shop will be open (with restricted numbers of visitors) during Zoo hours.

Please Note: The Potawatomi Zoo takes the health of our staff, animals, and visitors very seriously. Special precautions and modifications to how we operate have been made to keep our visitors healthy and safe. Changes based on CDC recommended guidelines have been instituted across the Zoo. It is the expectation that all visitors will follow these guidelines to ensure the health and safety of everyone visiting the Zoo.

The Zoo will continue to evaluate the situation. If CDC, state, and local guidelines change, we may need to make changes to the schedule. We appreciate your patience and understanding!
